The classic sad middle aged bachelor, Cyril lives with and cares for his wheelchair bound, football fanatic brother. Stuck in a cycle of interdependent dysfunction, the brothers bicker constantly, treading the wheel of routine until everything is thrown off balance by the appearance of Alice, an unlikely love interest for Cyril. This very human story is solidly played by an experienced cast, and smartly directed, especially considering the constraints of a tiny playing space and a wheelchair. Heartrending and exasperating, the production skilfully communicates human frustration and isolation, before reaching its tragic if rather abrupt conclusion.
