Julian Garner

Bare Bawds has enjoyed a long and fruitful association with the playwright Julian Garner. As well Cyril's Little Moments of Weakness and Strength (London & Edinburgh, 2003) and the world premier of The Kingdom of Children, we have performed his children's musical A Giant Giant's Pizza and a youth group has taken his The Bear Table from Christ's Hospital Theatre to the Minerva Chichester and the Cottesloe at the National Theatre.

In summer 2002 Julian gained a Fringe First for his play Silent Engine, which was staged by Pentabus and directed by Theresa Heskins.
